What is the dominant political system (democratic or non-democratic)? If democratic, which type, and if non-democratic, which type? Use V-dem.
What is the pattern or what could be identified regarding their formal political institutions? Is there a correlation between the cultural zone and the type of political systems? Use DPI.
Based on your selected zone, it is crucial to demonstrate whether we could safely argue that a participant culture is more likely to have democratic political institutions and subject cultures are more likely to produce undemocratic political systems.
