Select a fictious brand, business, or organization, or identify one you are familiar with to create a 3-month social media strategy plan. This will be the brand or business you will use for the final project in this course. It can be a business or organization already in existence or you can create your own. If you choose to create one of your own, provide details that will allow your reader to conceptualize the company including a business name, location, and business type (i.e., for-profit, non-profit, corporate).
In selecting what to focus on in the plan, you can choose to focus on a specific topic such as a launch for a new product, or it can cover brand awareness or another initiative. This is a mock process, so you have creative range to exploit your business and/or media campaign how you see fit.
In this assignment, you will share your brand profile (one-page) and provide an executive summary (one-page) of your social media strategy plan:
Brand Profile – describe the brand, business, or organization you selected for your project. On this page, include the focus of the social media plan, for example, if you are building a campaign to launch a new product for X Corporation, define those details here.
Executive Summary – an overview of your social media plan and its main selling points – you should treat this page as if it will be the only page your brand/organization will see.
