Topic: Your topic for the course paper will be based on some aspect of the topic that you chose
from the list below. For example, if you wish to cover “The Role of Digital Forensics in Solving
Cyber Crimes,” your paper must extensively cover some aspect of digital forensics within the
current criminal justice system. In other words, make sure your research is up to date. Also, you
must extensively discuss your topic. You can do this by providing background knowledge,
discussing what impact this topic has on our society and the criminal justice system (especially
in the area of forensics), examining what is currently being done to address this issue, evaluating
the success of efforts to fix/address this issue, etc. *Remember to utilize academic research
and scholarly sources to back up your information!
