Topic: The increasing cost of making high-end video games and how to manage the budget
Topic explanation (just for your understanding so you can write the assignment better and find good references): Video game companies are struggling with managing the budget of creating high-end video games. They need solutions for this problem.
Research type: Qualitative
Research method: Interviews with game developers, publishers, etc
Assignment for this Week: Identify the main themes and sub-themes for your topic to include in the literature review. The main theme is the Topic above but you need to identify sub themes too and write about them.
EXAMPLE provided below on how to write this paper:
Themes are general concepts or topics, while sub-themes are specific themes within a larger “umbrella” theme. The researcher must explain what the general themes and sub-themes are for the Literature Review.
EXAMPLE OF USING THEMES AND SUB-THEMES
Here is an example for cyberloafing:
(Theme 1) Intentions- An employee’s attitude, social factors, and affect impact whether or not an employee will attempt to cyberloaf (Yilmaz & Yurdugul, 2018; Robinson, 2010).
(Sub-theme 1) Attitude- Yilmaz and Yurdugul (2018), found there is a positive relationship between attitudes and cyberloafing, stating that if cyberloafing was perceived in a positive manner then employees would commit the behavior.
(Sub-theme 2) Social Factors- Social factors are a part of subjective normal and an employees perception of a behavior may impact them to perform the act (Taherdoost, 2018). If an employee sees other peers participating in cyberloafing, they are more likely to commit the act (Spath I & Vengrouskie, 2022).
(Sub-theme 3) Same for Affect.
