Term Paper:
The term paper should be 7-10 pages in length, double-spaced with font size 12 in APA style. Ensure that you follow the proper APA format. The course paper is due in Week 14. Your paper should have original thought or analysis, and the logic of your ideas. There must be at least 3- 5 academic resources to support or contend your opinions about the content of the paper. You must cite in APA format within the text of the paper and in the references. The paper will not be accepted late and must be submitted through Canvas. Plagiarism will result in a failing grade. The Turnitin in Report must be less the 15%. For information see the University Policy Manual on Plagiarism. This does not preclude information from other sources so long as you attribute the source. Simply repeating what you hear in class or read in the book does not constitute A or B work. The essay grading rubric is attached.
This is a societal issues in law enforcement relative to the use of narcotics paper. This paper has no specific topic. I want you to pick a topic you are interested in. I will provide a list of a few ideas but you can feel free to conduct a research paper on anything that corelates drugs/society/law enforcement. You must introduce a theoretical perspective (encyclopedia of social theories is a good place to look.
