Today’s healthcare environment poses diverse and complex patient care
challenges and requires a highly qualified and experienced nursing workforce.
To mitigate these challenges are graduate nursing roles, each with a different
set of competencies and expertise. It is important that healthcare providers
and administrators are able to distinguish the uniqueness of each role to best
use the role and develop strategies for effective collaboration and
interprofessional interaction.
This assignment will demonstrate an understanding of the discipline of
nursing as it pertains to the advanced practice nurses’ distinct role and
perspective, and where shared perspectives exist with other disciplines.

on your chosen APRN role.

of how APRN disciplines can collaborate.
Your paper must be presented in a single Microsoft Word
document. The paper must be between 4–5 pages in length, not including the
title and reference pages. The paper must use proper APA formatting as directed
in the APA Publication Manual, 7th
edition, including the title page and reference page, with properly formatted
citations in the body of the paper.
