This semester we wrote weekly summary pages of scientifc papers and reviews on different parasites: the three we looked at were toxoplasma, plasmodium, and cryptosporidum. The final paper worth 200/500 points of my grade is a research propasal for a unique grant to conduct research involving one of these parasites that sort of elaborates on a topic or a review paper we geared towards during class. I did not do much work with complex science involved because I prefer the easier subjects. The aims paper example I attached is a topic that I enjoy so anything of this easy nature would work as long as its a novel research idea involving one of the three parasites I listed above. I think an large amount of sources would be a bad idea. I want the paper to feel more like the one i attached labeled Jeffers, but follow the rubric and headings of the research proposal rubric. The page limit is also not strict but the rubric explains everything. The specific aims portion is also very important and she said the amount of detail i used in mine titled specific aims paper example is perfect.
