This project will consist of two things that you have to turn in.
You will get a list of 10 Presidents ranging throughout the decades. You will choose 5 of them. It will be your job to research your President, the good and the bad, and then develop a ranking system to put them in order from 1 to 5. After you have researched and ranked, you will create a product that shows how you ranked them and the accomplishments/problems that put them in the place that you did.
Here are some things to consider:
Research:
Begin by researching the Presidents from your list
Familiarize yourself with the major achievements, policies, and challenges faced by each President during their tenure.
Consider factors such as leadership qualities, effectiveness in office, domestic and foreign policies, economic performance, and historical significance.
Establish Criteria:
Define the criteria and factors that will guide your ranking process. These could include:
Leadership abilities
Economic policies and performance
Foreign policy decisions
Legislative achievements
Crisis management
Integrity and character
impact on civil rights and social justice
Public opinion and historical legacy
Rank the Presidents:
Based on your research and established criteria, rank each President accordingly.
Justify your rankings with evidence and examples from historical sources, scholarly articles, and reputable sources.
Provide an explanation of why certain presidents rank higher or lower based on specific criteria.
On your paper, you will show your rankings of your Presidents, the order in which you ranked them, and the why. In other words, why are they here in your rankings?
On the document of your choosing online, you will write a very brief Life Bio of the President with a picture.
You will turn in 3 things to me:
