The French Revolution, which took place from 1789 to late 1790s, was significant moment not only for France but for the entire world. Its effects extended beyond national boarders, igniting political upheavals across Europe and globally. The principles of liberty, equality, and fraternity that emerged from the Revolution influenced movements for social and political change worldwide. The French Revolution had a profound impact on political change, societal norms and values. It challenged traditional hierarchies, abolished feudal privileges, and introduced the concepts of citizenship and rights. In its aftermath, nationalism, gained momentum and revolutionary ideologies spread, paving the way for the establishment of modern nation-states and democratic governance.
