This is the fifth step of the artifact research project. 
List at least seven reliable and relevant sources for your artifact paper using a proper bibliography citation style (You may use an APA, MLA, Chicago/Turabian style citation to cite the source). Among seven sources, you must include at least two academic sources and two sources from the following book and museums: Gardner’s Art Through the Ages (12th edition in Course Reserve in Canvas), The British Museum (http://www.britishmuseum.org/Links to an external site.), The Metropolitan Museum of Art (https://www.metmuseum.org/Links to an external site.), and The Walters Art Museum (https://thewalters.org/Links to an external site.).

After you properly cite the source, add an annotation for each source by answering the following guidelines:  
In the first paragraph, introduce the source by identifying the author (and his/her credentials), summarizing his/her topic and main argument, and listing the key evidence (s)he used. In the second paragraph, evaluate the source by answering the following questions.  
Why did you pick this article/book?  
How does it relate to your artifact? 
How helpful is it?  
Does it present a broad overview or focus on one specific issue/example? 
What did you wish the author discussed more but not elaborated on in this article? 
In your writing, distinguish clearly between your words and the author’s.

I. Due date and time: 11:59 PM on Sunday, 5/12. 
II. Instructions:
1. This is the seventh and second to the last step of the artifact research project. 
2. Write a two-to-five-page long (500 to 1,250 words) artifact paper (not including a bibliography) that includes answers to the following questions. You may create your own questions and answers in addition to these questions. Write in complete sentences. Your paper must exhibit polish (correct spelling and grammar). 
3. Remember to incorporate the feedback you received from your peer review partner.  
4. Submit it to “Artifact paper” in the Assignments folder. 
III. Questions: 
1)    Identify your artifact. 
a.    What is your artifact?      
b.    Present the picture(s) of your artifact with full citation (its title, creator, location, date created, and the material used).   
c.    What is the purpose of this artifact? What was this artifact made for? 
2)    Explain your artifact’s importance to the culture that created it, as well as in the larger scheme of world history.
3)    What can you learn about the relationship between humans and environments, humans and other humans, and humans and ideas through the artifact? 
4)    Why is this artifact worth learning about? 
5)    Compare and contrast this artifact with a similar one from a different civilization around the same time, if applicable. 
6)    What do you like most about it? Why does this artifact capture your attention? 
7)    Add a bibliography with a minimum of seven reliable sources. You need to include at least one academic source and one source from the following museums, if applicable:
