This is the final revision of Short Paper #3 on the issue you selected in Week Two. This is a persuasive paper in which you are crafting an argument, identifying key elements of an important nursing issue, and demonstrating why that issue merits concern. A substantive link between the issue and the role of nursing must be made, and presentation of opposing viewpoints as indicated must be included. It is expected that supporting resources from the nursing profession and other organizations/professions will be utilized and evident throughout the paper.
This is a SUMMATIVE assignment. This means that you are to take the feedback from throughout the semester, especially the feedback from the Annotated Bibliography and Short Paper #3, and incorporate the improvements, adjustments, and recommendations into this paper.
Be sure to consult the attached grading rubric. Like all scholarly papers, this paper should include an introductory paragraph with a clear thesis statement, body paragraphs, and a distinct conclusion. Utilize at least 10 professional sources as your references; 7-8 must be professional nursing sources. Be sure to paraphrase — not plagiarize. Use proper APA format according to the 7th edition manual. First-person is NOT permitted for this assignment.
