This is my final project for my UX Design Masters. The intent is to show how User Experience can help people feel less lonely and getting generations connect through empathy. Basically, I wanted a comparison of the loneliness levels before and after covid-19, with solutions the UK government provided for them, I’ll also require apprendix’s that had case studies to support what I said, actions that the community took to try to resolve the matter (e.g. https://westleedsdispatch.com/all-aboard-the-london-cab-helping-older-people-to-make-new-friends-in-bramley/), and maybe even actions that are currently being taken that help any generation to connect with empathy (e.g. how a simple monthly day with young people from a school going to a senior home and allow them to listen to stories and situations they’ve been through). My university is based in the UK, so most of my sources were and should be based in the UK, however, if you do find some other example in any other country, I’d mention it too. On my proposal, I left a lot of references that I checked it could quite useful, and I’ve also attached some examples of what I’d be basing myself on while doing the project. When I submitted my proposal, my tutor did compliment a lot the tone of voice I’ve used on my introduction, so I’d highly request the same tone of voice used – I’m also non-english native, so I’d also request to avoid using extremely fancy words which I might not even know the meaning of. The important documents to refer to are the GDO750 brief, the GDO750 proposal and important references. The other documents are either examples of things I’ve done in the past or that I found online to inspire myself on what it needed to look like.
