This involves using direct quotes from the author’s work in your answers.
7. Think about how you are organizing your essays/papers. How are you organizing your information? Including random thoughts in your answers is unlikely to address the specifics of the questions. You should divide your information/evidence into separate paragraphs. You should never submit one long paragraph for an answer.
8. You should include numerous sources in your essays/papers. You must demonstrate where the information you are incorporating in your essays/paper came from. Whenever you incorporate an author’s ideas or concepts in your answer, you must include a reference. If you learned about Aristotle’s views on women from The Politics, a textbook, an article, or a lecture, and you incorporated that information in your essay, you must include a reference. It is acceptable to include numerous references in your essays/papers. This demonstrates that you have read the assigned readings.
