Students will use an annotated bibliography format to present their research. The paper will begin with an APA formatted title page (with the page number in the upper right-hand corner), followed (on the next page) by the references and annotations (listed alphabetically within each category). Use headings (below) to indicate the start of each section.

Identify two (2) academic peer-reviewed journals discussing the impacts of political parties at the local (city or county) level. List the citation for the article, followed by three sentences addressing the following information:
What was the main point of their article
Did the author offer pros/cons of political party influences at the local level
Were there other influences at the local level aside from political parties
Summary: The paper will consist of the first heading, the article citation and article annotation/summary. Followed by the next article in the first section and the annotation. Then the student will list the second header, followed by the 2 articles and annotation, and then the final section, followed by those articles and annotations.
Papers will be graded on successfully locating academic peer-reviewed journals for the assigned topics, formatting the paper successfully in APA 7th Edition format, and providing insightful summaries addressing the specific questions for each topic.
