For this particular assignment it requires you to read 2 separate readings and answer 1 question to discuss as part of a thesis developed paper.
*Please read the document “Lorde Reading” and the document “Malesic Reading” BEFORE DOING THE ASSIGNMENT.
*After you have read the readings, you can begin the essay. I have selected the question “In today’s world, does finding one’s truth add value to the human experience?” You can find the set of questions in the screenshot provided. If you feel you will have more to write about from another question, please let me know first. USE YOUR OWN COMMON SENSE, when writing the essay and you must also quote each author in MLA style. DO NOT WRITE THE ESSAY AS A SUMMARY OR DISCUSSION ABOUT EACH OF THE READINGS. THE ESSAY IS TO BE DEVELOPED AROUND THE QUESTION SELECTED.
(When quoting each author, the quote must also include the page number from the reading)
The Introduction needs to include the lead-in, the tie-in, and the thesis statement. The “short academic essay structure” document will provide you with an example for reference. Please look over the entire document as it references how to write other parts of the essay such as body, conclusion etc… Each body paragraph should have a topic sentence, with supporting details and a concluding sentence. Finally you come to your conclusion, the reinstatement of the thesis statement and then the final thought.
