This essay is going to be about a personal experience that I have faced even tho I’m not the one writing lol but just to help out with the essay, i am a dancer and I had a knee injury, thinking it wasn’t a serious injury I kept on with dancing until I took advantage of my body telling me I can’t anymore leading me to have surgery. Talk about the toxicness of being in the dance world. Like body image, not fitting in, and the demanding and manipulative teachers. Me not stoping was because of the toxicness of the teachers calling me weak and a quitter. I later learned and realized that this is not a family. After the mental abuse of this life as a dancer and in recovery from the knee surgery i had gotten close to god. This is where belief comes in. Talk about in having faith and trusting that god has a plan is what got me through the surgery, pain, and anxiety knowing after it all i will be okay.
