This assignment is to strengthen the dissertation and apply recommendations submitted. The recommendations are as follows:
Refrain from “I”, “we”, “our” sort of language. You will want to rewrite these sections so that you are restating this in a different way.
In your problem statement section, you state it is unknown. Why is it unknown?
At this level, rather than one paragraph talking about a single paper, and then another (in book report form), instead, you will want to come up with a topic or theme for your paragraphs and then synthesize (ie. cite) several different authors to back up or talk about that theme.
Your qualitative methodology – know that the requirement for Trident is 3 different collection methods for qualitative data collection. This can be a questionnaire, interview, and focus group; or interview and 2 focus groups; or any combination, but you do need to have 3. In one place you mention 2, but in other places you mention all three.
At this point you do need to have your appendices in this version.
How are you going to collect your data? This process seems unclear. Have you contacted an organization for permission? Answer: Yes I have sent email to Mobile Chamber Commerce asking person to send questianire to small business that is listed on there directory.
Much of your chapter 3 is written in past tense… you have not collected any data to this point, correct? Answer: No
Your data analysis section needs to be very clear on what methods you will use. Think of this like a step-by-step manual for guiding someone to replicate your research.
You have some areas in your paper so far that mimic a quantitative study. Refer to the template on the libguide for headings.
Your chapter 2 should be a minimum of 30 pages at this point. Look at the template on the libguide to better organize and structure your Chapter 2. Remember that this should be a synthesis of literature.
