THIS ASSIGNMENT IS DUE SATURDAY 5/4  AT MIDNIGHT.
Note: This assignment requires that you research, analyze, and prepare a narrated, camera-on PowerPoint presentation.  This will take several weeks to construct and cannot be completed in one day. Allow at least 2 weeks to prepare this large point assignment.
Failure to narrate your slides and/or having your camera off will result in earning just 50 points for this assignment.
Citations are required- you need to tell me the pages from the Annual Report from where you found your information. Must come from an Annual Report and not some website that summarizes financial data. There’s a 50 point deduction for not using the company’s Annual Report for this information .
Need help finding the annual reports for the company you’re interested in? Search here:https://www.annreports.com/companies/Links to an external site.
The use of AI-generated responses is prohibited. Suspected AI generated responses will receive 0 credit for this assignment and will be reported to the Dean of Business and Applied Technology.
CAUTION:  If you wait to submit this assignment close to the deadline you will likely run into problems uploading it. I can only grade work that is submitted in Canvas by the deadline (late work is not accepted- no exceptions will be made). Therefore you really need to submit this assignment no later than 6PM Saturday. This way, if you run into any problems trying to upload it, you can troubleshoot those problems and still have time to submit the assignment before it’s deadline.
Managerial Accounting: Key Performance Indicators and Corporate Social Responsibility Analysis
The objective of this assignment is to analyze and discuss a company’s performance using some of the key performance indicators covered in this class as well as evaluating their corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Instructions: Create a narrated and camera-on PowerPoint presentation with a minimum duration of 4 minutes and a maximum duration of 5 minutes. Use concise and visually appealing slides to present your six (6) key performance indicator analysis, calculations, corporate social responsibility assessment, and recommendations.
KPI stands for key performance indicators. These can be several things and companies often talk about the metrics they use to help determine their performance in their Annual Reports.  For this assignment I left it up to you to determine what these could be (examples are things such as year to year sales, or year to year profits, or company sales compared with industry standards, etc,). In our class we learned about a lot of different performance indicators. Choose any 6 that you like.
Use appropriate headings, subheadings, and references to support your analysis. Ensure the presentation flows logically and includes key points from each section. Practice the narration to ensure clarity, coherence, and adherence to the time limit.
Company Annual Reports can be found on company websites under Investor Relations or just Google the company you’re interested in along with the words Annual Report (example: BMW Annual Report). Links to an external site.
