This assignment consists of the creation of a research poster. The primary purpose of a research poster is to serve as a conversation piece between researchers at conferences to foster collaborations and advance knowledge. Typically research posters are created to summarize a research study that involves collecting original data. Since we don’t collect original data in this class, you should select a study from your literature review which you found especially interesting. The article will need to have collected original data since you will create a poster that presents its results. You should not print this poster since that would cost money. Instead, you will just create it electronically.

Note that an effective poster is one that “shows rather than tells” which means visuals are important as opposed to merely typing out detailed information that people will be unlikely to read.
Grading considerations are as follows:
1. To what extent did the poster satisfy the purposes of each section?
2. To what extent was the poster visually appealing? (e.g. were visuals used?)
