The whole goal of this assignment is to develop a proposal for an exercise-orien

The whole goal of this assignment is to develop a proposal for an exercise-oriented initiativethat is a response to the problems single mothers and thier children face, with the hope of improving their living conditions through this physical-activity initiative.
IMPORTANT: This assignment consists of five sections. I want you to work on sections 1 & 2 & 3.
Also, it is important to note that ealier this term, I did a short presentation on this topic in class. I will post the transcript of the presentation as a PDF file below.  Before embarking on doing this assignment, please read the transcript of the presentation attached below. This transcript involves some intial research on the issue we are addressing plus some ideas for an initiative. It also includes some possible articles that yu may find helpful using them as research sources.
Here, I have provided the deatiled explainations of each section you need to do below.
Section 1: Introduction: 1-2 pages
Think of the introduction as a “vision statement” that you will use to convince a panel of researchers and sociologists that your idea is a worthwhile idea that deserves further attention. With this in mind, begin the document with a clear statement about what is included in this document and the logic of the document. State what the broad goal of the document is (i.e. to describe, offer background, and justify a sport-related responbse to the social and psychological problems faced by single mothers). Then, briefly summarize for the readers what they will encounter in the document. Before reaching the next section, they should know (in general terms) what social problem your initiative was designed to respond to, what your initiative/program will “do” to respond to the problem, and how your initiative is offering something that is needed.
Section 2: Background on the social problems: 8 pages
Define the problem you intend to address through your initiative, and outline what researchers have said about the problem.
Try to state the problem simply and clearly. If you are doing to do this over the course of doing your research, it will help the reader better understand your concern. Have there been any studies on ways to deal with the problem? What key themes emerged from the literature you examined that you think are helpful as you attempt to devise an approach to dealing with the problem? Are there any studies in particular that you found helpful? What are these studies and why are they helpful?
Note: There is a list of potential peer-reviewed and scholarly journal articles in the file that contains the transcript of the presentation. The file is attached below.
It is absolutely essential to tie some relevant course materials to your topic:
The relevant course readings are attached as png files below.
Also, lists of key terms are also attached as png files with the name “key terms” below.
Is there any theory or concept that you think will be helpful in guiding your research? For instance, it is common for those describing interventionist work to use the term “social capital”. For those trying to raise awareness about a form of social inequality in sport, the term “hegemony” might be a useful guiding topic.
Note: For our project, you could tie our topic to the concepts of “positive peace” and “structural violence”. Also, the relevant theoretical framework is conflict theory. The relevant course readings that contain the definitions of “positive peace”, “structural violance”, “hegemony”, and “social capital”, and the description of the social conflict theory are attached as JPG files below.
It is important to show that you have made a thoughtful effort to highlight at least some connections will be important.
Finally, it is important to note how the problem you have chosen and the responses to this problem relates to the definition of peace, more specifically positive peace (Thr definitions of peace and positive peace are provided in the course readings, attached as png files below).
Section 3: Reflection: 0.5 page
Reflect on your writing “process”. Explain what worked particularly well in developing the project idea? what would you do differently if you were to do this again?
Note: The following sections are not intended for you to do them. I have decided to include a very brief descriptions of the following sections so you get a general sense of what this project is about, but you do NOT need to do the following sections.
Section 4: Other exisiting programme: Consider what others have done to address the problem you have identified.
Section 5: The proposed programme: This step involves the actual development of the sport-related initiative/programme/ intervention that you are designing to address the problem.
Note: before embarking on doing this assignment, please read the transcript of the presentation we did earlier this term. This transcript involves some intial research on the issue we are addressing plus some ideas for an initiative. It also includes some possible articles that yu may find helpful using them as research sources.
