The team project for this term will be changed to individual projects. Choose one of the technologies below (or another with instructor approval) and explore the impacts expected on AIS within a company or accounting firm of your choice. In your paper, explore the impacts of the selected technology on accounting systems, accounting processes, and accounting personnel. Explain why it is a benefit and what risks are present in the implementation process including security, business disruption, etc. The paper will be 5-7 pages of content (excluding introduction, conclusion, references, etc.) along with an approximate 7-slide power point presentation of key findings to present on the last day of class. The presentation will be 6-8 minutes with time for Q&A.
