How has this unit challenged your understanding of transwomen? Coming into this unit, what was your general understanding of transwomen? In other words, how had your individual experiences, beliefs, communities, and culture shaped your understanding of transwomen? In digging into the materials, what information were you most reactive to? (this can be both a positive and negative reaction). After studying the ,materials, has anything about your understanding changed? Does this unit influence your understanding, if yes, how so? Whatever beliefs or stereotypes you had regarding transwomen was changed or reversed by this unit?
While I am not looking to compete with your personal beliefs. However, you have to contend with the fact that this unit has widened and deepened your perspective and understanding of trans-communities, regardless of your personal feelings.
