The purpose of this assignment is to analyze and work with one of the tools included in the supplementary textbook “Strategic Analysis for Healthcare: Concepts and Practical Applications” by Michael S. Wayland and Warren G. McDonald, with the ultimate purpose of using that information as part of your Strategic Management Group Project.
Once you have selected one of the tools or chapters in coordination with your teammates, then you should gather the required information and apply the tool to your particular project.
The written assignment will have the following sections and will answer the following questions:
1.- On page 1 please make a review of what this tool is about and explain why did you select it and how does it complement the rest of the tools selected by your team and fits in your Group Project.
2.- On pages 2 and 3 present the results of the application of the selected tool (if you have to create some graphics or tables like several of the tools require, please put those as appendix to your paper at the end of the document)
3.- On page 4 write your conclusions, including how easy or difficult it was to use the tool, gather the information or any other relevant implementation issue. You can also make recommendations to improve or modify this tool if appropriate. Also explain how similar or dissimilar was from your initial expectations and any lessons learned from this teamwork, but individual responsibility exercise.
