The purpose of the case study assignment is to report on real-life problems currently
being faced in the global fashion industry. This case study utilizes Inquiry-based Learning (IBL)
which involves systematically working through a problem or question in 5 stages: Orientation,
Conceptualization, Investigation, Conclusions, and Discussion.
Orientation (Introduction)
Class discussions and activities will be used to introduce the concept of a case study and explore
a variety of issues currently impacting the global fashion industry.
