The purpose of the article review assignment is to expose you to current and/or pertinent behavior analytic literature and single subject research. This will also allow you practical application of terms you are studying with your SAFMEDS. It will prove beneficial to read the article over several times prior to attempting to respond to the questions.
When responding to the questions remember:
State your responses to questions in your own words. Do not use quotations or copy any statements directly from the article.
Use APA style in-text citations when answering questions based on the article.
Use complete sentences and write in paragraph form. Do not use bullet points or lists.
Use APA style formatting including 12-point Times New Roman font and double spacing.
Include a reference section at the end of your submission and list reference(s) (including the article for review) in APA style format.
Your score is not based on the length of your response. In fact, the more succinct and concise your response, the more you demonstrate an understanding of the article content.
Point value as follows (see rubric):
up to 5 points for each correct response to questions 1-5 (total 25 points possible)
up to 5 points for use of appropriate APA formatting and following all standard writing conventions
up to 2 points for response to extra credit question
