Design and carry out your own experiment to investigate the relationship between the force exerted on a spring and the spring’s displacement from its equilibrium (“resting”) position.
Make a judgment as to whether the relationship you find is a good or poor model for all of your springs.
Quantify the spring constant, k, of each spring that you use.
