Research your assigned company with your team
Identify 2 issues and/or opportunities related to our OB course that would be positively
and/or negatively impacting organizational behaviour and therefore, company
performance.
Analyze the issues / opportunities that you find using frameworks, theories, and
concepts covered in our course (OB Chapters 1-14) lectures, and Moodle course
content.
o Your goal is to evaluate organizational behaviour within the company, specifically, the impact and effectiveness of things like the company’s internal culture, values, employee programs (motivation), organizational structure, and company leadership to determine how these elements are impacting their employees, and company performance.

3. TEAM PROJECT REPORT (14%)
Your report should be 2,500 – 3,000 words, including frameworks, tables, figures, text, etc. The title page and references section do not count towards the report word limit.
The report must be professionally written, well-organized and include the following sections:
Title Page – include the name of the project, each team member name and their student ID, the instructor’s name, course number and section number, and date of submission for the report.
Table of Contents – be sure to list page numbers.
Introduction (approx. 300 words) – summarize your key points of your report. Explain the issues / opportunities your report is analyzing, your recommendation and the resources required. Place the Introduction immediately after the Table of Contents.
Main Body – five sections of the main body as described below.
1.0 Company Description – Identification of Key Information about the Organization
(approx. 300 words)
A brief overview of the organization, its objectives (if known), its product(s) or service(s), the key customer(s), key individuals in the organization (if known), relevant industry information, current situation, and any assumptions which help clarify the facts. Remember to reference your sources (include inline short-form references, AND then show full reference detail in the Reference Section).
2.0 Key Issue / Opportunity (approx. 300 – 375 words for each issue/ opportunity)
• Describe the issue / opportunity you identified and why you think this issue / opportunity is relevant (in the context of Organizational Behaviour)
o A clear, concise description of the key issue or opportunity #1 you have identified
that may be (positively or negatively) impacting the company’s organizational behaviour. Specifically, you are identifying key things like the company’s internal culture, values, employee programs (motivation), organizational structure, and company leadership to then analyze (in section 3.0 below) how these elements are impacting employee, and company performance
Describe how you identified the issue / opportunity (You can use a SWOT Analysis, or review the Company website, or public online Annual Reports, etc. to identify the issues / opportunities)
Remember to reference your sources (include inline short-form references, AND then show full reference detail in the Reference Section).
NOTE: For the next section, work through 2.0 and 3.0 for the first issue/opportunity,
and then, work through 2.0 and 3.0 for the second issue/opportunity:

3.0 Analysis of Issue / Opportunity #1 (approx. 500 – 750 words for each issue/ opportunity)
Use course topics, tools, concepts, and frameworks to analyze the issues / opportunities you identified in the organization.
For example, you may find declining sales as a key issue in your business. Ask yourself what impacts this has on organizational behaviour (ie. Leadership, motivation, communication, teamwork, organizational change, etc) using concepts and frameworks from our course.
In your analysis, describe the course concept/framework you are using and apply it to the issue / opportunity you are analysing.
This is a key part of the report where you heavily refer to organizational behaviour terminology, concepts, and frameworks from the course.
Your analysis should consider any of the following OB topics which may be relevant to the issues / opportunities identified in Section 2.0 of your Report:

–  Values, Attitudes, and Diversity in the Workplace

4.0 Summary (approx. 300 words)
Summarize your report in this section – Provide a high level summary of the your teams
findings and recommendations.
