The goals for this week are understanding how scientific and medical journals can be used for general audiences. After this week’s readings you see how one journalist interpreted a scientific study and the importance of translating scientific findings for different audiences.

Critique a health or medical communications Web site or Blog. Refer to readings in the course to explain how effective or useful the platform is for a health news consumer or the audience for which the publication is intended. Make sure to have a clear thesis statement in the beginning and use examples throughout to back your argument.
Length should be approximately 3-4 pages, including source material (word document)
