The goal of the Ethnographic Report is to research different parenting practices of Greece and develop a written report. Your paper must be in your own words and represent your word.
Below are the basic requirements of the report:

Minimum 4 pages
Gather, summarize and incorporate a minimum of 5 high quality references
APA in-text references and APA reference page
You should provide some basic information about the culture and the conditions in which they live. Also, an idea of some basic parenting practices (sleeping, who provides caregiving, feeding, education, etc.)
BRIEF Background on Culture – need some background information to make sense of their parenting practices
Economic conditions
Location – on a world map and perhaps more specifically
Religion – what are the basic tenets of their religion and how does this influence parenting practices?
Family Structure – who do they live with, how is family structured Where do the live? In cities, rural, in villages, nomads, refugees in other countries? Living Conditions – running water? Electricity?
Health?
Focus Mainly on Parenting Practices – examples of what you might include:
Sleeping Caregiving Eating/Feeding Education Health Practices
How to Handle Child’s Emotions, such as Crying Birth Practices, Prenatal Beliefs, Postpartum
Consider the reliability of your sources – keep in mind that everything you find on the internet is not true. You may find more reliable information in the reference section of the library and on library databases. You will be graded on the quality of your references, so give some thought to this. Good starting point for references – the reference list of your texts and readings.
What to include on your report:
Basic information about the culture you are describing – location, demographics of population, maybe living conditions, education, socioeconomic factors (see above)
It is also critical to describe parenting practices – you could take one specific parenting practice and analyze it in terms of the influences on parenting, or could describe several or many parenting practices, such as sleeping arrangements, discipline strategies, role of mother vs. father in providing caregiving, feeding, gender issues, etc.
