Curate an online exhibition of material arts that has three “galleries,” each with a different theme that displays five objects. You choose the themes, but you may NOT re-use the theme of power or any of the objects from the mini exhibit.
Your exhibition must include material arts objects from a range of eras and places, but you may exhibit a single medium, such as textiles, or single object-type, such as jewellery. Each gallery in your exhibition must include four material arts objects from lectures 1-11 and one material arts object of your choice NOT shown/discussed in the lectures.
Your exhibition will include four texts: the first will briefly introduce the viewer to your exhibition and its themes (100-150 words). Each gallery also have a longer text that explains your choices and organization (400-500 words). The objects should be sequenced in both a logical and visual way.
You may use Microsoft Word, Sway, or PowerPoint, or other app, as long as I can open the file or link (note that many programs require the owner to grant permission). Your exhibition texts must be written in your own words and reference and credit your information sources in MLA format. Each design must include a caption giving the maker, name of the object, country of origin, date, and image source.
