The DIMEFIL
assessment will form the second part of the national
security policy recommendation that is the final assignment in this course,
which will incorporate the results of both the PMESII and DIMEFIL
assessments.
Conduct a DIMEFIL assessment using
the DIMEFIL framework of the relevant national security
issue you selected from among a list of options provided in Assignment 1 and
based upon the same main national security policy background you prepared for
the same issue.
As a reminder, a DIMEFIL
assessment considers the national security issue from the friendly perspective.
Refer to the PMESII &
DIMEFIL Primer (attached) to ensure you address all relevant
aspects of the DIMEFIL framework.
