The course is called evidence based practice. Basically it teaches us how, from where, etc. to draw and filter resources that we want to use in tasks or in our work (in my case, a clinical microbiology laboratory. The task is based on a previous one that I have already done. This was to choose a topic, and then write the methodology I used to find papers on that topic. So this paper now is the actual report where I’ll critique myself and say which papers I’ll keep and which I won’t and why. NO is to write a paper on a topic, but a paper on how I found information on this topic. Instructions, material, lectures and my previous work will be provided. I will also be permanently available for further information. Here as requested by the university “A report on the evidence-based investigation proposed in assignment 1, including a critical appraisal of available evidence, development of an action research plan, a reflective diary with supporting evidence and recommendations for professional practice (3700 words).’
