Overview
This is the final assignment for this course. Student will select an agency in the community that is doing the type of work in which they are interested. This can be, but is not limited to, an addiction treatment center, a domestic violence agency, a youth treatment facility, a mental health center or any non-profit of interest. Upon finding a contact person in the agency, students will interview this person (using the rapport building tools discussed in class) and explore the mission, funding sources, treatment modalities, and client population of the agency.
This assignment will include a one-to-one interview with someone within that agency, so I suggest starting on this assignment early.
