The 20th century marked a period for the profound transformation in film, with automatic growth and popularity, being something out of the ordinary, to mankind. People were amazed by the novelty of moving images projected on a screen. The ability to capture and replay real-life scenes was seen as a marvel of technology and sparked a sense of wonder among audiences, influencing some of the world’s most remarkable film makers such as Gregg Toland, Vittorio Storaro, Sven Nykvist, and making history. Film was not the only talk of the town, as it shared fame with the female revolution. Now in the early 20s We commonly hear a lot about Gender Discrimination, lack of voting rights, Healthcare Disparities, however it was worse than it appears to be educated to us. disgusting sexual violence, including marital rape, depth of abuse leading to deaths, such as Reproductive Rights Restrictions. Due to the help of filmmakers,such as George Loane,…,…,… for using their master minds to bring a combination between film and the depth of mistreatment towards women, to the screen they helped unveil disturbing female taboos,which helped us now stand in a more educated society.Within this study I will be expressing how filmmakers,using film, a powerful artistic medium of the 20 first century, used their skill and intelligence to expose the dark gruesome side to female oppression. Within this essay, I will be discussing the journey of cinematic evolution within the 20th century, exploring its pivotal role in reshaping perceptions, and going into depth about societal constraints about women’s unspoken narratives,including sexual assault, abuse and so called “limted mental capacity” within this ira .
