Task:
This assignment is a deconstructive analysis. Compose a paper in which you (1) explore three to five important/crucial aspects of this topic and then (2) synthesize the information in order to provide your audience with a solution or specific way of looking at the topic.
The primary body content of this paper will be three to five subsections that use quotes, paraphrases, and summaries from your sources, followed by detailed explanation/exploration. You can choose any aspects of the topic that you wish, and you may give these subheadings titles of your choice. Remember that these five subsections are informative, not argumentative, though you should discuss why each aspect is important to consider.
The final body content of this paper will be a subsection that argues for a particular solution to the issues related to your topic, or a particular way of looking at/approaching the topic. Remember that this section must be rooted in research. This subsection is not purely your opinion on the topic, so do not use it as a space to rant or give your personal take. I want to see a well-researched proposal/solution in this section, which includes primary source material.
This project will need to be composed in classical structure; that is, your project will need an introduction section, four to six body sections (3-5 informative aspects/one solution (synthesis)), and a conclusion . Please cover only one aspect in each subsection and limit your solution to the appropriate subsection as well.
Research:
This project requires extensive research, in order for you to better familiarize yourself and the audience with your topic. Please cite this outside research in APA format. You MUST use at least five sources . DO NOT use Wikipedia (or a similar nonacademic website) as a source. Your sources must be academically acceptable. At least five sources must be found through the Marx Library or similar databases are preferred. Other sources must be unbiased and reliable (statistics, .org, .gov, hospital/university/academic journals).
