Students are required to demonstrate their knowledge of the course by presenting and
submitting a minimum 15-minute Voiceover PowerPoint Show (email your VPPS to your
colleagues as well) and the five-page APA 7
th edition style paper (the five pages does not
include title page, abstract, reference page, etc. in which you MUST include). The topics
for the Voiceover PowerPoint Show submissions must deal with the history and systems
of psychology only and will be assigned or determined during the first-class meeting or
on CANVAS by the student. Due dates will be stated in class or posted on CANVAS
(generally Week 8 but you should submit it before then). An APA 7
th edition formatted
reference section is required at the end of the Voiceover PowerPoint Show and
discussions with AT LEAST THREE, SCHOLARLY JOURNAL ARTICLES. This
means from resources such as Monitor on Psychology, Psychology Today, Journal of
Abnormal Psychology, etc. They may be obtained by hardcopy or retrieved from a
university-sponsored database such as William Carey University (i.e., EbscoHost,
PsycARTICLES, Academic Search Complete, etc.). The resources must be peerreviewed to receive credit. NO REFERENCES SUCH AS WIKIPEDIA,
VERYWELLMIND, OR SIMPLYPSYCHOLOGY WILL BE ACCEPTED. IF YOU
USE WEBSITES SUCH AS WIKIPEDIA, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE FULL
CREDIT. You will be expected to post your Voiceover PowerPoint Shows and APA 7

edition paper to CANVAS prior to Week 6 for grading purposes. A
