This assignment is designed to provide you with an opportunity to explore an area of interpersonal communication of your choice.
The essay is expected that through your efforts you will expand your knowledge beyond the information provided in the textbook and learn more about something that is of personal interest to you. You will have a clearer understanding of the communication topic of your choice.
There are several ways you can gather information on your topic. You must use some of the material in the textbook, class notes but you can also explore other sources. Interviews, surveys, observation, library material, and the Internet are some of the options you have for this project.
Your essay must discuss the following questions:
What is the communication concept about? How does it function?
Why does this particular communication concept interest you?
How does knowing about this concept facilitate more competent communication on your behalf?
Provide two real life examples of how you
applied your chosen topic to a communication event this semester or
observed your chosen topic in a communication event this semester

Produce a creative and informative essay that illustrates a communication concept/topic.
