For this assignment, you will initiate your semester-long exploration of an issue. Here, you

Topic: Marijuana and the economy
Research Question: Although marijuana may present negative health aspects, the legalization of marijuana is great for the economy.
Thesis The legalization of marijuana can provide significant economic benefits through job creation, tax revenue generation, and improved public health outcomes.
Main Ideas:
– Taxation (can legally be taxed so the government can receive more money) 
– Economy (how the legalization of marijuana has helped flourish the economy)
– Safer usage (“dethrones” the cartels)
