Spain & France
Theme: “Transitions”
Occasionally a case of artistic expression causes a change from the “way things are done” to a to a modified way of creating in that genre or discipline. In other cases, the transition is slower and results from changes in society, belief systems, or diasporic populations. The cases covered in our lesson from Spain and France exhibit how transitions relate to artistic expression. Choose one of our lesson cases from Spain and one from France to discuss how transitions are represented. Provide a comparison of the similarities and differences between your two chosen cases as they relate to transitions. (ATTACHED AS SCREESSHOTS)
Comparisons will be evaluated on use of terminology for spain and france (SCREENSHOTS ATTACHED)from both cases you choose to cover, the use of details from both lessons to support your answer, and the inclusion of your experience with the artistic cases in your own words.
