Sign in page for customers, employees, and admins.
Customers
• New customers who don’t have an account can create a customer account.
When signing up, ask for a username, password, full name, and address.
• Can add items to a cart and place an order (items in the cart don’t need to be in the
database until the order is placed).
• Can place orders based on what was in the user’s cart. The user may apply a coupon
code to their order (employees can create coupon codes in the database).
Note: it’s up to you if you would like to store credit card information in the database.
• Can view their orders and cancel any when necessary (cancelling an order should delete
it from the database).
• Extra feature (optional): can view the items that are inside of a specific order.
• Can see and change their name and address after signing in.
Employees
• Can create items and add them to the store (set item name, price, quantity in stock,
etc…).
• Can see a list of every customer account.
• Can see a list of all orders placed. The list should be in order based on the name of the
customer who placed the order.
• Extra feature (optional): can view the items that are inside of a specific order.
• Can create coupon codes that a customer could apply to their order at checkout.
Admin Account
• Can create employee accounts. When creating an employee account, enter their full
name, a username, and a password. Extra feature (optional): try to set it up so when an
employee signs in for the first time using the password set by the admin, the employee
is asked to enter a new password.
• Can change the status of an order as well as delete an order.
• Can delete customer accounts and employee accounts.
• Can change the name, address, username, or password of a customer.
• Can change the name, username, or password of an employee.
It is up to you what type of product the store sells.
