Should be 10-15 pages. The papers should be 12pt font, double spaced, and in a reasonable font. Be concise. The paper must be thoroughly edited and not be in the style of a “rough draft.” Do not include too much biographical information. The topic you write on will be open-ended, though it must be based on material from the course.
The overall theme of my paper should be “Mindfulness.” I will provide the readings for this section. I discussed with my professor about the possibility of it being about the meaning of mindfulness, but it isn’t required. You have free reign to develop the paper as you see fit. I have other things to do in a short amount of time and so I won’t be available to help much, if at all. I can provide you with some notes that he gave me, though.

Along with the final deadline of the paper, I do need a thesis and outline to turn in by April 28th at 11:59 pm. cst. If possible, I’d like to have the thesis and outline by the day before if possible so that I can look over it. The question answered by the thesis should be both clear enough and narrow enough for a paper of this length. The outline should include a set of motivating concerns as part of the introduction, a list of the relevant premises or bodies of evidence used in the body of the paper, sources where any supporting evidence will be found, and each step in the argument that the student will use in order to argue for their thesis statement.
I’ll also provide some previous writings of mine so that you can possibly get a feel for how I write, if it may help.
I’m sure you know how to write a philosophy paper, but I’ll also provide the links we were given for tips on how to write.
