Short Paper (750 words): In this paper, you will focus on the application of dynamic pricing within the industry suggested by Chat GPT (see prework). Reflect and include your own personal experiences with dynamic pricing in that industry, offering a firsthand account of how a dynamic pricing strategy has impacted your decision-making about whether to consume the good or service and/or how much to consume.
Your paper will include 3 sources total. Using your research discuss the benefits and costs associated with dynamic pricing from both the perspective of the industry. How will advances in artificial intelligence impact the evolution of pricing models for this industry? How will technological advances continue to change consumer experience?
Next, describe ethical considerations that surround dynamic pricing for this industry. Explain in detail at least one ethical implication of personalized pricing that future regulation or industry standards should consider.
Conclude the paper by summarizing what consumers need to know about dynamic pricing in this industry. Your final sentence should offer a recommendation for consumers who may find themselves considering the purchase of this good or service.
Although you used Chat GPT to find the industry, you may not use Chat GPT or any other artificial intelligence to write any portion of your paper.
Before you submit your paper, stop! And review the following:
Place your word count at the end of the paper (i.e., WORD COUNT: and then the number of words in your intro, paper body, and conclusion).
Incorporate three news stories from reputable sources (e.g., New York Times, Wall Street Journal, The Economist, Washington Post, CNN, MSNBC) to support your points.
Sources must help you to address the specific questions in the assignment.
Do not use academic articles or blogs.
Do not cite any -pedias, Khan Academy, etc. If you use them to help with your research, that is ok but do NOT cite them in your bibliography. They will not count towards your sources.
News stories can be articles, videos, podcasts, etc.
