Select a course screening from the list below that you didn’t reference in your Discussion Starter, Response Paper, Group Presentation, or Short Answers. Find two course readings that you didn’t use in your Discussion Starter, Response Paper, Group Presentation or Group Presentation Forum Discussion assignments. One of them can be a text you used in the Short Answers. You can use one reading from the week the screening was assigned for, but the second reading has to be from another week. Take the screening as your primary text, identifying its main thesis, and use arguments from the readings to either support or critique/contradict the screening.
Avoid quotes, paraphrase instead.
Avoid lengthy summaries of texts.
Avoid unsupported generalizations.
Be selective. Focus on parts of the texts that work well together, that can enrich each other’s arguments OR, alternatively, parts that contradict one another/offer an alternative perspective on the same topic.
Come up with a thesis that sums up how, in your view, the different texts fit together (or how they don’t).
When paraphrasing specific passages, cite the texts with page numbers/ranges.
Include a bibliography.
