Service Learning/Career Review Presentation
Prepare a presentation based on the project you did and the research topic you explored in the essay. This opportunity will add up to 15 points to your research project grade depending on the quality of the presentation.
Purpose:
to provide an opportunity to persuade or inform an audience
to provide public speaking experience
to create a visual display of the project
Requirements:
1. Create a professional presentation (using PowerPoint, Prezi, Sway, etc.) explaining the service-learning project or career review findings.
2. The Service Learning presentation should include the following: the name and mission of the organization you worked with, why you chose it, photo(s) or video of the experience, the thesis you supported in the essay, the points supporting your position, and any other relevant information you would like to include.
3. The Career Review presentation should include the following: the career being analyzed, results of the career assessment, passions and interests, job duties, required education/training, job outlook, photos or video of the interview, and main takeaways from the interview
3. Presentation: Explain your project and answer any questions from the audience.
The presentation will be graded on effort and quality (professional appearance, completeness, and polished grammar/mechanics).
