Do you see any links between Shelley’s “Frankenstein’s Monster” and our modern world? In other words, does her story and “monster” character show up in our modern world through fictional outlets or real world events?
Focus on the Monster or Creature and how it may be seen in our world or our modern fiction.

How do the monsters used in the essays above relate to any real world fears or anxieties that the audiences may have? Do these fears, along with the associated monsters, change with time? Explain. In other words, how have these monsters been used to show real life fears? How have those fears changed over time?
