Nursing research has a rich history that dates back to the 19th century when Florence Nightingale transformed hospital sanitation and patient care. Florence Nightingale was the forst nurse researcer ( Falkner, 2022). Since then, nursing research has evolved significantly, and it is now vital for evidence-based practice that is essential for improving patient outcomes and advancing the nursing profession. The concept of nursing research emerged in the 1930s when nurses began publishing studies on nursing education. Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) established research grants for nurses in 1936, and in 1948, Ester Lucile Brown’s report highlighted the inadequacies of nursing education and encouraged nurses to learn research skills.
