Habitat for Humanity International is the charitable organization I chose to write on in my final term assignment. A global nonprofit organization dedicated to housing, Habitat for Humanity works to give families and individuals in need secure, affordable homes. Habitat for Humanity constructs and repairs houses with the help of volunteers, funders, and affiliated organizations, all the while promoting affordable housing as a basic human right.
My interest in Habitat for Humanity International for the final project stems from its significant objective to address the global issue of housing insecurity. My own beliefs are well aligned with the organization’s dedication to community-driven development and its emphasis on empowering individuals to achieve better futures.
