Scenario
Your annual review is approaching. Your state has a new Governor and a new Director of Public Health. You had been a senior manager over the Environmental Services Division during the last administration. Although you were looking to advance, the former Director thought your background was too narrow. This is your opportunity to present your career plan and make a case for moving to a Director position at some point in the future. The review is scheduled for 30 minutes, so you will need to make your points as concise as possible.
