Compose a final paper (one-thousand-word minimum requirement) in a Word Document about the same person that you selected on the Project Proposal and the same person that you researched for the Annotated Bibliography. Submit the assignment to the dropbox in Canvas. Below are the instructions for the assignment.
Instructions:
The required length for the paper is a minimum of 1000 words.
Use 12” Times-New Roman Font in a word document with 1” margins.
Your paper must be submitted to the Final Paper dropbox in Canvas.
Your Turn it In report must indicate no plagiarism in the body of the work.
Analyze three primary sources on your person in your paper.
Analyze one academic book on your person in your paper.
Analyze three academic peer-reviewed journal articles in your paper.
Include a title page.
Demonstrates college-level grammar and writing.
Include a “Works Cited” page with three primary sources and two secondary sources, including an academic book and a peer-reviewed journal article.
The “Works Cited” page and the paper must follow the correct Chicago Manual of Style Format.
Include an introductory paragraph with a thesis statement about your person.
Describe the social contributions of the individual or event.
Explains why the event was important or why the person was an important historical figure.
Provide basic historical background on your topic or biographical information on your person.
Contextualize the person in the era in which they lived or provide historical context for the event.
Describes the major events or problems of the country during the period that affected your subject. Or, describe the major parts of the historical event or topic.
Examines the influence, legacy, and accomplishments of the person or event.
Includes a conclusion that restates the thesis statement.
