Johnson discussed major attributes that are measurable and can be used when assessing intelligence reporting. These attributes are accuracy, relevance, timeliness, comprehensiveness, readability, probability, objectivity, and actionability. Johnson also discussed the 5 major steps in the intelligence cycle. These steps are: Planning and Direction, Collection, Processing, Analysis, and Dissemination. Identify and discuss at least 1 thing that can go wrong in each step of the intelligence cycle.
